My name is Justin J. Marcum, founder, and I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and give you some insight into our firm. My roots and my heart are in southern West Virginia. I grew up here and have practiced law in the community since graduating from Appalachian School of Law. I know the people who live here and understand the hard work they do. Prior to college, I worked in the coal mines and grew up seeing first-hand the toll this dangerous work can take. I am proud to serve as an advocate for people who have suffered that toll or anyone hurt on the job or due to an act of negligence. In addition, we handle car wrecks, personal injury suits, estates, divorce and family law issues, property law, and legal document preparation.

Justin Marcum was a very aggressive attorney who did not care to take the gloves off to fight for me. He’s very knowledgeable and does great work. I am so glad we hired him to handle our tractor trailer case. We got in a wreck when a tractor trailer hit us, and he was able to get me $3 million dollar...

Suspension Partially Stayed Placed on Probation issued in WV, 2021
updated on 01/20/2022Suspension partially stayed means the attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. When the attorney returns to practice he or she will be on probation, meaning the State monitors the attorney's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
