She was hired to represent my kids through cps. She recommended that my rights be taken away. I did not get my kids back. I didn’t have much of a chance to. She did not investigate anything. Just went by hear say. I understand that I made a mistake & failed a drug test. But to recommend that kids get... taken permanently from their parents. Is a huge deal. I think every parent should have the right to get them back. Unless they are Being abused or neglected. My kids were well taken care of. It has now been 16 years since I lost my rights to 2 of my children. I never got custody back l. Didn’t have a chance to. I now have 2 other kids. I have been investingated & proven that I am fit to be a mother to my children several times over the years. I do not feel like my kids best interest was in good hands. I get to see my kids that were taken every day now. Thanks to their families & myself providing to them that I am a good mother. I had an addiction. Addictions can be overcome. I have not touched a drug in 15 years. I would not hire her to represent anyone. She doesn’t do her job. Just recommends the easiest thing for them. I have seen her do the same to several families. Instead of helping them. They need better parenting programs in Mason County. They take to many kids from their homes. She should be for families getting back together. Not ripped apart. My daughter now has severe mental issues. From things happening to her in foster care & at her grandmothers. Things that a mother would never let happen to their kids. We are working on her issues. I am able to be there for them. I love my kids more then anything in this world. I wish she would have gotten to know me. Before assuming I was a bad person. Just because I messed up. She is definitely hard core & heartless.

Ms. Handley was hired (by my insistence) on 6/27/19 to represent my children in court. My children told Ms. Handley that they have been physically abused by their mother for years and that they were even driven across our town on 8/28/19 by their intoxicated mother but Ms. Handley still recommended t...hat my children split parenting time between me and their mother. Ms. Handley went as far as telling my children that she could recommend they get taken from me if they refuse to spend time with their abusive mother. Then on 10/1/19 my 12 year old daughter was again physically abused by her mother because she was forced by the court, upon Ms. Handley's recommendation, to be around her abusive mother. My daughter has refused to stay with her mother since that date. Today is 12/31/19. Ms. Handley ignored everything the children and I told her and did not do a proper investigation. She endangered my children by not properly doing her job. She wants $6,300 for what I call a catastrophic job. Skip this attorney and find one that actually cares. Note that my children who are old enough to choose where to live ALL live with me 24/7. This leaves my 7 year old in danger of being abused.
