also known as Brad Wright
As an advocate for the accused, Bradley passionately defends the rights of his clients by working diligently to resolve the legal issues they face. Whether it is providing sound advice to better inform his clients or his thorough investigation of the facts, Bradley gives each case the attention it deserves while ensuring effective communication with his clients.
A former law enforcement sergeant and narcotics canine handler, Bradley effectively represents clients accused of a wide variety of criminal offenses including misdemeanors, felonies, DUI offenses, and drug charges. A 2003 graduate of the West Virginia State Police Academy’s 118th Basic Class, Bradley is trained in the procedures used by law enforcement officers and certified to operate the preliminary and secondary breath tests utilized in DUI arrests. He has also been trained to administer the field sobriety tests used by law enforcement officers in West Virginia in both DUI alcohol and DUI drug arrests.
Bradley believes that knowing every detail of a case is imperative. In each case, he relies on his experience as an attorney as well as over seven years in law enforcement and over 400 hours of law enforcement training. He has been trained in forensic death investigation, field sobriety testing, Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE), crime scene management, narcotics investigation, narcotic K9 use, officer involved shootings, accident investigation, and many other areas of the law. His background and experience as both a criminal defense attorney and a former law enforcement officer enables him to spot the important issues in his clients’ cases, ensure proper procedures were followed by law enforcement, and help minimize the effects an arrest can have on his clients’ lives.
To better serve his clients, Bradley has traveled across the country to attend DUI Defense seminars in Scottsdale AZ, Chicago IL, and most recently, Philadelphia PA. He is also a member of the Order of the Barristers—an honor bestowed upon only ten members of his law school graduating class. In addition to representing clients in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, Bradley formerly worked to overturn wrongful convictions as a member of the West Virginia Innocence Project at the West Virginia University College of Law in Morgantown.
