Kelly Elswick-Hall’s decades of success are attributed to her wide range of experience in several areas of law, giving her unique legal insight among her legal peers.
She has helped hundreds of seriously injured and disabled workers in personal injury cases, chemical and toxic exposure cases, head injury cases, deliberate intent cases, product liability litigation, automobile crash injury cases, medical negligence cases, sexual harassment cases, wrongful discharge cases, and multi-plaintiff litigation. Her experience also includes complex family law litigation, Workers’ Compensation, and Social Security Disability claims.
Kelly serves as a Governing Board member of the West Virginia Association for Justice and has served on the West Virginia State Bar Committee on Workers' Compensation, Committee on Social Security, and the Committee on Law and Medicine. She served as secretary of the West Virginia Workplace Injury Litigation Group and as a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. She was on the founding committee for the West Virginia Women Attorneys and serves as one of the group's first district representatives. She has also reported decisions in the West Virginia Supreme Court and federal court in multiple areas of civil, Workers' Compensation, and other Administrative appeals.
In 2009, Kelly was awarded the President's Award from the West Virginia Association for Justice in recognition of her commitment to protecting the rights of West Virginia workers and their families. She is AV Preeminent Rated for the Highest Level of Professional Excellence by her peers. She has received awards from the Legal Aid Society of Charleston, for providing free legal aid to low-income clients.
Kelly volunteers her time lobbying at the state level to advocate for the rights of vulnerable West Virginia workers, using her experience to help draft critical legislation.
