Formerly a prosecuting attorney for 18 years, with extensive trial experience, Mr. Holstein now defends clients accused of criminal conduct in both state and federal courts in West Virginia. He accepts clients in capital cases and other serious felony matters, as well as all misdemeanor and traffic matters, including DUI.

Mr. Holstein accepts clients in all family court matters, including divorce, alimony, child custody, grandparent visitation, domestic violence and protective orders, and child abuse and neglect matters.

With approximately 20 years of trial experience prosecuting cases for victims, and with 7 years of experience handling personal injury cases, Mr. Holstein accepts clients who have suffered injury and other wrongs as a result of the negligence and/or intentional wrongs of others. While bodily injury from automobile accidents are the most common, claims are also accepted for slip, trip and fall cases, wrongful death, wrongful termination of employment, workplace injury and the like.
