Aaron M. Kidd

Aaron Kidd is an associate for Heavens Law Firm, PLLC. Mr. Kidd received his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law, and received his bachelor’s degree in economics with cum laude honors from Marshall University in 2013, where he was a Promise Scholar and Presidential Scholar. Mr. Kidd is a West Virginia native who grew up in Hurricane, West Virginia. He is a first-generation lawyer in his family. He has been active in West Virginia politics from his time as the Chairman of the West Virginia Federation of College Republicans throughout his undergraduate career, where he was able to travel all across the country for board meetings for the CRNC, and to Israel in 2011 for the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). He and his brother, Andrew Kidd, play bluegrass music as the Kidd Brothers Bluegrass Band: . Andrew has worked as a law clerk at our firm, and is a current student at WVU College of Law.

Aaron Kidd started out cutting grass at Heavens Law Firm while attending college at Marshall. During this time, he developed a close relationship with firm founder, Chris Heavens, and all our staff. That relationship evolved to a point where Mr. Kidd began to work as a law clerk for the firm, and eventually decided on a career in law. During his time at WVU Law, Mr. Kidd worked in the WVU Legal Clinic during his 3L year, helping the poor and disenfranchised who could not afford to pay for legal counsel. He spent summers off from WVU Law working for our firm and growing in his role as an astute legal scholar and excellent facilitator of improved client relations. Mr. Kidd brings to our law firm the kind of human decency and thoughtfulness that is often lacking in today’s legal profession.
