I’m so grateful for the support and guidance I received from Emily Sitzler during one of the most difficult times in my life. She helped me navigate the custody process with clarity and professionalism, always fighting for my daughter’s best interest. Ms. Sitzler listened to my concerns and was ...never dismissive but took me seriously. From the first consultation she was very compassionate and understanding and it was clear to me that she truly cared about my situation. Our case involved collaboration with other lawyers/GAL, law enforcement, psych evaluators, visitation supervisors, and witnesses and she managed this all very professionally and offered clear advice for me throughout the case. I also greatly appreciated the time she put into preparing me for testifying, and helping me to feel safe at the courthouse. Thanks to her work, I was granted custody of my 23-month-old daughter and permission to move to NY to be with my family. We finally hired Emily after hiring several of the areas "best" custody attorneys and paying tens of $K's for disinterest and poor communication (at best) for our ongoing child welfare/custody case. Emily was recommended to us by our child's trauma specialist as an attorney who takes interest in h...er cases, and most importantly, schedules herself enough time to have an understanding of your case before entering the court room. (If you've had other attorneys, you know this is rare.) Emily put us at ease and then got work doing what she does best! Her performance and demeanor in the courtroom is impeccable!
