knows the ins and outs

My daughter got a speeding ticket for 81 mph in Carrol county. In Virginia this is reckless driving, a misdemeanor. Ms. Boyer was able to get this charge reduced to a nonmoving violation. A small fine plus court costs and no points. Had she been found guilty she faced 12 months in jail, $2500 fine, 6... months loss of dl. She is obviously well respected by the court and does so at a fair and reasonable rate. i highly reccomend her as your representation.

Possession of marijuana and alcohol, speeding

Karen Boyer is highly skilled professional who was able to get a complete dismissal of my possession of marijuana and possession of underage alcohol charges in exchange for community service. She was also able to get my speeding ticket reduced to a nonmoving violation so that it wouldn't affect my in...surance. My friend and I are extremely grateful to Karen that she could help us with this. It is a great burden off our shoulders

The Best Possible Outcome

Karen Boyer was my legal representation for a court case that occurred May 2017. I was charged by the officer with Wreckless driving and possession of Marijuana. This was a huge mistake that could've negatively effected my life for years, Karen's final plea deal was for Defective Equipment and dismis...sal of the Marijuana. The outcome could not have been better. Karen's representation was also much more cost efficient than the other quotes I had received from lawyers in the area. I would recommend Karen Boyer to anyone that may need legal representation.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
