Generally, to be entitled to divorced surviving spouse benefits, the parties must have been married for the 10 years before the parties divorced. D and P were married for 7 years, divorced, but living ... and working together for 6 years, then married again for 8 years. Because Nevada (where D lived when he died) recognizes cohabitation, P was found to be the divorced surviving spouse.
