Steven Patrick Milani

I hired Steve Milani after being arrested for protesting the Mountain Valley Pipeline in Roanoke County. I was charged with three misdemeanors, but if convicted, each charge could have resulted in a $2,500 fine and a year in jail. Mr. Milani was everything you would want in an attorney. The most ...important thing to me was an experienced lawyer who was well versed in the law, well versed in courtroom defense procedures and a lawyer who would listen to me about the outcome I was hoping to achieve. He listened and then advised me of the best way to achieve my desires and win the case. I was impressed in court when he would stand up and make objections which the judge accepted. Mr. Milani was able to get one of my charges dropped completely and was prepared to have one thrown out before the prosecuting attorney withdrew it herself. We knew I was guilty of one charge, but I believe my punishment was reduced due to the stellar representation I had in court. I received no jail time, no probation and my fine was just a little over one third of what it could have been. Mr. Milani was easy to work with. He was organized and forthright with his opinions about my options. It helped greatly that he was compassionate and genuinely cared about what I wanted out of my day in court! I believe that I received the best possible outcome at my trial due to my excellent counsel. I highly recommend Steve Milani.

Very congenial and at the same time professional.He explained certain aspects of custody battles,as well as protective orders in regard to the situation for our son and our grandson.All went very well and we are currently enjoying visits immensely.Highly recommend him,his knowledge of the law is quit...e extraordinary.
