On Jan. 14, 2025 I paid Mr. Cox up front on Jan. 14, to represent me. He told me I had to file my car loan. I went to DMV to get transcript . Mr. Cox said there is no lien on the transcript. I ask why is there not a lien? Mr. Cox wasn't concerned about the lien not being on transcript. I was extre...mely upset the lien was not on DMV transcript. I ask Mr. Cox to call the lienholder or someone to see what happened. Mr. Cox said he would do that before Mar. 7, 2025 court date filing. Mr. Cox failed to contact me or anyone about that lien not being on car loan. After Mar. 7, I went to DMV myself, paid another 9.00 again to get another transcript because something was not right the lien not being listed, possible error made by new DMV clerk.? I got new transcript.The transcript had the lienholder name on it. The lien was also marked on my original registration card dated Aug. 2024 I told Mr. Cox the lien was on my registration and transcript. I showed these items to Mr. Cox. He said registration does not have the name of lienholder on it. Who else would have my name, car listed on my registration? Mr. Cox also informed me I did not have to pay the car loan because there was no lien on my car. I said, they will repo my car. He said no they will not repo your car. They would be in violation of the law and have take you to court. I was upset nothing was done. This was a Reputable FInance Co. with no lien? I ask Mr. Cox to call finance co. to find out why there is not a lien. He said he would call before we had to go to court on Mar. 7, 2025. Mr. Cox failed to call me or finance co. or anyone about this lien. Mr. Cox also made comments about my personal life, business, that I found very unprofessional and inappropriate. I was there for bankruptcy not to talk about my personal business or life. I contacted Mr. Cox office to complain about the lien and his rude comments. When I spoke with him, he said are you upset because you have to pay for the car loan? I said no. I am upset with you that you did not follow through what you said you were going to do. I paid my bills, but life happens sometimes. Then he said, You just want a free car? No! I said . Now, I am really emotional upset. You are unprofessional I told him. I don't want anything free, and never had free anything. I was shocked that this attorney said this to me. I hung up the phone. I did get my lien interest rate lowered. I went to sign agreement Mar. 26, 2025. I showed Mr. Cox original registration card , new transcript. I had my personal dating cancellation requests papers that I did not know were under the DMV transcript when I handed to Mr. Cox. Mr. Cox, said to me ""Hows that dating going for you? (harsh tone). I told him, that was My personal business. He said I was being polite. No, he was being rude. 3-26-25 I had to sign agreement with finance co through Mr. Cox office . to lower my interest rate. Mr. Cox ask me are you sure you want to do this ? Mr. Cox asks me are you sure you going to be able to pay for this car loan? I have been paying on this car loan for 7 mos. and built up my credit score, this bankruptcy lowered my score 6 points, it was flagged because I filed my car loan I paid this loan in order to get my credit score back where it use to be at 650-720 credit score. Why would I not pay the loan? I ask him why are you asking me that, as though you think I am not going to pay the loan. This is my experience. I was so very disappointed in this experience that I hope I don't have to deal with that again.
