James Curtis Joyce Jr.

As a teenager growing up in South Carolina, I saw suffering. I decided then I would go to law school to do what I could to help people through the difficulties of life. My first client as a lawyer sustained serious injury in an accident at work. I was able to get him the benefits he deserved. He continues to be my client forty years later.

For over twenty years, I was a partner in a large firm. Even as head of the litigation practice and a member of the management committee, I believed I could do more to help people. Starting my own firm has allowed me to concentrate on helping people with Social Security disability and long-term disability claims a well as helping people set up, buy and sell businesses.

Today I enjoy using my forty years of experience to help people unable to work get the benefits they deserve, help small businesses create opportunities for people, and help with the wide range of legal issues facing contractors and construction companies.  My life experiences allow me to understand my clients and fight for their needs.
