The BEST Custody Attorney

Brittany and her paralegal, Kyndal, are amazing to work with! This was one of the most difficult times in my life and both Brittany and Kyndal went above and beyond throughout the year long battle. They were both very responsive to questions and extremely sensitive and caring. Brittany was down to e...arth and extremely sharp and knowledgeable. I knew from the moment I met her, she was who I wanted to represent me. She got the best outcome for me and my child and I couldn’t be happier. Seriously, if you’re in a custody battle, Brittany is the one!

Exceptional Attorney

Brittany went above and beyond to finalize the adoption of our son. She communicated with us throughout the process and ensured it went very smoothly. It was evident that she is passionate about handling adoptions and that she has the child’s best interest in mind.

Representation

Brittany represented my mom in a case recently. She was honest, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She eased our worry and took the time to answer our many questions. Our entire family is so grateful for Brittany's assistance and we're thrilled for the favorable outcome.

Excellent Lawyer

Brittany Gordon is wonderful, knowledgeable and confident. She represented me in court and was amazing. She was very efficient in court. She led me through process and informed me as needed and made me feel at ease. Court was a fast process because of her and won the case. I couldn't have asked ...for more. Can't thank her enough. I am sure she do great things for you as well.

Personable, but billing procedure was lacking

I contacted Ms. Furr regarding a custody/visitation case and paid the retainer in July. It was my understanding that I would be notified when my retainer had been exhausted and I would be accruing additional fees. I was not issued a contract and was not issued any updates on my retainer or invoices ...during the time my case was active. When my case ended up requiring two court dates, Ms. Furr mentioned that there would be additional fees, however I did not receive any invoices. On January 2, Ms. Furr said she hoped to have an invoice to me by the next week for my case which had gone to court in November/December. There were minor details still being dealt with in January. On January 28, I received email that she had made edits to my invoice and I should receive it by the end of the week. I didn't hear from her again until March when I received the first and only invoice. According to the individual fees listed in the invoice, my original retainer had run out the first week of November, yet I did not receive any updates on my account until March when I received an invoice and letter to pay by March 30. It seems to me that a better business practice would be to send monthly invoices. I saw no record of how my retainer was being used or when it ran out and I started accruing new fees until months after my case was completely over. Ms. Furr was personable and pleasant to work with, however there were several occasions in which my questions went unanswered and I had to follow up. One week prior to my court date, I sent an email in which I listed 8 concerns or questions that had gone without response. I mentioned that I questioned if I had solid representation for my court date which was the next week. To this I received a quick reply. Upon a consultation, if you decide Ms. Furr is best for your case I recommend that you 1. ask for a contract 2. ask if monthly invoices will be issued and 3. ask what timeline you can expect for replies to your questions.
