I cannot comment on his services since we have not done business yet. However, he was prompt in responding and giving me an overall opinion on the situation and what he would be able to do/attempt to do.

You can tell right away he is a busy lawyer, but he gave me time to talk and he answered many questions on the phone before j segment saw him. He may seem abrupt, but he is just trying to get a clear picture of your case. He worked hard for me and never fudged on the outcome. It was so good to have a...

Mr. Bowman was the only lawyer I could find who was willing to help me with a very complicated problem. Other lawyers never returned my calls. He was willing to talk to me and even gave me ideas to solve my problem on my own-although I did end up having to hire him. He is a busy lawyer, but he is ver...

Admonition issued in VA, 2015
updated on 08/03/2016An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“I received an admonition regarding a formal, not actual, conflict of interest in a complicated Chapter 11 business reorganization, in which the owner of the business with whom I had the conflict had waived in writing such conflict, but there was a technical legal issue as to whether the client could waive the conflict. This was a technical issue and I still represent the successfully reorganized business.”
Public Reprimand issued in VA, 2000
updated on 08/03/2016This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“I received a reprimand because a secretary in my office, unknown to me, failed to mail documents in 2 cases to opposing counsel on the dates stated in the "Certificate of Service" I signed in the documents. My accuser, who was opposing counsel in the 2 cases, was also chair of the bar disciplinary committee. The bar disciplinary committee issued a reprimand, but the Army Professional Conduct Board also reviewed the complaint and found that I did not commit "misconduct."”
