Biography
As a member of our Corporate and Business Law Group and Tax Group, John K. Prillaman represents closely held and public companies and other business entities in various transactions and other commercial and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, commercial transactions and other general business and corporate law.
Prior to joining Woods Rogers, John worked as an associate in trusts and estates at Stevens & Lee in Reading, Pa. While there, he concentrated his practice in estate and trust administration, estate planning and the representation of tax-exempt organizations.
John received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond and his law degree from the University of Maryland, cum laude. He later obtained his master of laws degree in taxation from Temple University.
His Roanoke Valley community outreach includes serving on the board of Roanoke Valley SPCA and the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Backbone Club.

No Communication
We hired Mr. Prillaman to help us with consumer issues. He sent us a sumons in the mail so I called left message on voice mail as to why are we going to court in Roanoke City and no reply. So we pay all day parking downtown Roanoke and we did not have to be there... No communication what so ever. So ...
