Sarah Catherman

Attorney Sarah E. Catherman practices primarily in the areas of criminal and traffic defense and also enjoys estate planning and guardianship/conservatorship work. Additionally, Sarah serves of counsel to the Richmond Bankruptcy Law Firm of Throop Law. This affiliation allows her to offer bankruptcy services to clients in South Central Virginia.

As a former Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for Sussex County and a Magistrate for the 6th Judicial District (encompassing the cities of Emporia and Hopewell and the counties of Greensville, Sussex, Prince George, and Surry), Sarah possesses a wealth of criminal law knowledge. Her previous experience also includes internships with the Henrico Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, Ohio Attorney General's Office, and the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas in Celina, Ohio. Additionally, Sarah possesses seven years of experience working for local law enforcement agencies and serves on the Virginia State Bar's Medical Malpractice Review Panel.
