Refusal

I need to speak to you about your irate receptionist and their refusal to allow me to speak to you. I mentioned Charkela Branch on the phone and the young lady went off. There should be nobody working in that office related to the victim on these cases. Second, why is it so much red tape? Why... is the clerk giving me a CR code and the receptionist claiming he is not in the system? My older brother filed his appeal on March 29th. There’s no way it should take a month for him to get a lawyer. His paid lawyer turned it over that same day. Portsmouth Judicial has paperwork from April 15th and I called yesterday and I went thru 4 people plus an attorney claiming his court code doesn’t exist. I gave the second receptionist the CR code the circuit clerk gave me and she found it. Why is nobody appointed and it’s April 26th? How long does it take? I asked for the HEAD of the public defenders office since your receptionist don’t know anything. This woman just refused to give me a name and a number to the head of the public defenders office after lying on the clerks in the Portsmouth Circuit court. They never called or spoke to the circuit court. They don’t even know their names. When confronted, they lied. All three receptionist. The public defender, one of the attorneys refused to take down the court case code to even see that his case was appointed to the Public Defenders office. His files are not missing. This office just refuses to do legwork which is ridiculous. Lying on the circuit court clerks is BIG. What’s the secret? I don’t know. Not being able to give someone a timeline about appointing them a lawyer and refusing a client to speak to the head of this public defenders office is against the law. I’m in charge of representing him. He cannot call you from inside of the jail. This office needs to be dealt with immediately. They have people on the witness stand, family working inside of the building and acting irate and hanging up on clients and do not have answers. How you don’t know when he will have a lawyer? That’s crazy.
