Exceptional Legal Representation!

Having spent 7 YEARS and a lot of money with the wrong attorney who solely cared about his image, political network and a 5 star rating, I was leery about trusting another. After multiple consults at different places, we met with Attorney Doug Walter (based off of a recommendation). The impression he... made was truly exceptional. Fast forward, his fierce and strategic approach to my case was impressive, as he left no stone unturned in advocating for my rights. Not only was he (and his Assistant, Jana Moyer) considerate of my situation, but his communicative nature ensured that I was informed at every step of the legal process, giving me a sense of reassurance throughout. Impeccable Attorney

I was a previous client within the firm and whether Moschel retired, I remained loyal and trusted Mr. Walter for my custody/relocation case. Given a few months of research, he did his best, gave examples of related successful cases within the Commonwealth. Halfway into the hearing, Mr. Walter was con...fident that the judge was going to rule in our favor. Mr. Walter did his research, interviewed the witnesses the right (& tricky questions). In addition, he has validated a lot of positivity in regards to maintaining my primary custodianship and the relocation. Conclusively, the improvement quality of life the minor will have from the relocation. My daughter and I are much happier, she made the Gifted and Talented Program within the school district. Mr. Walter worked tirelessly even with the short notice I gave him. I will continue to retain him for any future family matter cases within the Commonwealth.

A perserving and professional attorney who always takes the high road. Well prepared and knowledgeable. Truthful and honorable.

Mr. Walter represented me in an our almost-9 year extremely high conflict custody struggle. Over all those years on the same case, with appearances in the JDR and Circuit Court that numbered more times than I can count, he prevailed every time but once. And he was able to legally turn that one legal... disappointment around in less than 125 days. Eventually, he would write my legal briefs for the Appellate Court of Virginia, and yet again, prevail. Ultimately, he would prepare and, then, help mediate the Consent Order that retained my sole custody and permitted me to leave the state with my child. Through out his years of representation, Mr. Walter gave sound, supportive, and helpful advice. Seeing his face prior to entering the court always gave me a sense of calm and confidence. He read my numerous emails and responded with consistent guidance as necessary. In family law, where emotions run high, he consistently held the high road and represented the best part of family law --- to an excellent outcome. As well, he made himself available during emergency situations. In those times, he acted promptly and aggressively -- even making himself available on some weekends. He's well known and respected in legal circles in our community. In the court room, he created a legally aggressive but collegial environment that focused strictly on my case and the law. Mr. Walter has my utmost respect and gratitude, and I cannot imagine having gone through these past 9 years with any other attorney.

A Terrific Lawyer!

I retained Mr Walter's for Child Custody, which later, turned into much more. He was extremely educated on all topics I needed. I was living in a different state, but this once hurt my case or how Mr Walters handled my case. He always returned my calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly, with... great understanding, and patience. He fought hard for my family and I am extremely grateful. I would highly recommend Mr Walter!
