I would recommend Jen to anybody needing a child custody lawyer. Jenn is compassionate, caring, fair, honest and relatable. She provides her clients with the attention they deserve and never sugar coats the facts or the truth. She goes above and beyond for her client's and always has the best interes...t of your children in mind. Child custody is a terrible situation to have to deal with do not make it worse by choosing anyone other than Jen! She fought hard for me and my children while providing fair, reasonable and accurate advice.

I hired this attorney to handle my first divorce, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. My ex filed for divorce in August 2024, and the divorce was not finalized until April 2026. What should have been a straightforward process became unnecessarily prolonged and frustrating. Commu...nication was minimal throughout the case. There were extended periods where I received little to no updates, and at one point, the attorney acknowledged that my case had gotten “lost.” My primary concern from the beginning was being removed from a mortgage on a home I have not lived in for over three years. This was the one issue I repeatedly emphasized throughout the divorce. Despite the divorce finally being finalized, I remain on the mortgage today. Meanwhile, negotiating payment of attorney fees appeared to receive more attention than resolving the issue that mattered most to me. After making my final payment, I did not even receive confirmation that it had been received, yet I am now receiving emails requesting that I leave a review. I am relieved that the divorce is finally over, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this attorney to anyone seeking timely communication, organization, or representation focused on their client’s priorities.

Jen was a powerhouse in court, with me, she was patient, kind, and deeply understanding. She never treated me like just another case file. THE BEST LAWYER IN THE 757!!! I hired Jen Anderson for my divorce. The consultation was thorough, she explained the divorce process, and she opened the floor all of my questions. She made the process simple for someone who has no idea what to expect during a divorce. With each document that needed to... be submitted to the court, she explained what I was signing and why. She remained in contact with me via phone and email. I felt that my needs were cared for and she was honest with me the entire process.
