Criminal Defense 35%

As a former prosecutor, I have extensive criminal trial experience in all aspects of criminal cases. This unique perspective makes me even more valuable to my clients in that I can clearly see the strengths and weaknesses of the prosecution's case as well as the defendant's case in reaching the best outcome on a case by case client by client basis. I provide straight forward, honest advise to my clients as if I were in their shoes. We handle all misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses.

Speeding and Traffic Ticket 15%

Traffic violations fall under the criminal code and many carry punishments up to 12 months in jail and/or a $2,500.00 fine plus the loss of driving privileges. We provide years of experience handling traffic cases to help clients avoid jail convictions, the loss of driving privileges, or the loss of employment due to a jail sentence or loss of driving privileges. Our case preparation makes a difference and provides clients with favorable outcomes.

Car Accident 5%

Injured through no fault of your own? We provide competent legal protection and handling of auto accident cases where the attorney, not a paralegal, handles your case from first contact to final distribution at settlement. We provide individual attention to our clients with maximum settlements and return more settlement money to our injured clients than other personal injury firms. We believe the injured client should be compensated greater than the attorney.

Public Reprimand issued in VA, 2010

updated on 10/04/2016

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

George’s comment:

“This involved a late filing on a criminal appeal. My motion to rehear the appeal was granted and the client's appeal was re-filed and ruled on by the Virginia Court of Appeals. However, I was reprimanded for initially missing the deadline. This was a complaint initiated by the Virginia Sate Bar, not the client. The client was satisfied with our services.”

George’s comment:

“This reprimand involved a habeas corpus petition matter from LaMondue Law Firm in 2003 that was not timely or properly transferred to me. Furthermore, the fees for attorney work were never paid but the client felt a letter he received committed an attorney to filing his habeas corpus petition anyway. This complaint was made almost four years after the alleged deadline past. Our motion to dismiss this complaint for lack of timely filing was dismissed.”

Admonition issued in VA, 2009

updated on 01/28/2013

An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
