"Justice for All"
For the last 18 years, I have dedicated my law practice primarily to family law and criminal defense litigation. As a former prosecutor, I bring a wealth of skill and trial experience to each case, including jury trial experience which many lawyers lack.
I govern my care for my clients around a simple policy... I treat each client as if I were in his or her shoes. This means my clients receive straight forward, honest advice. My clients receive competent counsel who listens patiently then helps to craft the best strategy for their individual case. My clients can reach me through an array of communication sources such as text message, email, fax, voicemail, and old fashioned person to person conversations.
The treatment of your case is as uniquely personal to us as it is to you. We look forward to discussing your legal matter and showing you what professional representation and true client care can really mean when you need it most.

Public Reprimand issued in VA, 2010
updated on 10/04/2016This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“This involved a late filing on a criminal appeal. My motion to rehear the appeal was granted and the client's appeal was re-filed and ruled on by the Virginia Court of Appeals. However, I was reprimanded for initially missing the deadline. This was a complaint initiated by the Virginia Sate Bar, not the client. The client was satisfied with our services.”

“This reprimand involved a habeas corpus petition matter from LaMondue Law Firm in 2003 that was not timely or properly transferred to me. Furthermore, the fees for attorney work were never paid but the client felt a letter he received committed an attorney to filing his habeas corpus petition anyway. This complaint was made almost four years after the alleged deadline past. Our motion to dismiss this complaint for lack of timely filing was dismissed.”
Admonition issued in VA, 2009
updated on 01/28/2013An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
