Joseph R. Rigney, a Chesapeake native, received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) where he graduated cum laude before attending the University of Colorado School of Law. As a former prosecutor, Joseph now primarily practices in the areas of personal injury and criminal defense including traffic law. Joseph concentrates his practice in in the courts of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton, and Newport News where he routinely tries both civil and criminal cases.
