Best Attorney in Virginia!

I was falsely accused of an assault and battery charge under Virginia law (18.2-57), which carries a maximum sentence of confinement in jail for up to 12 months and a fine of up to $2,500. Even though the charges were false and malicious, I had to answer to the charges in Virginia when I discovered t...hat a warrant had been issued for my arrest. That's when I turned to Mr. Swartz for help. Mr. Swartz provided me with invaluable guidance and support, working tirelessly to protect my rights and freedom. As an out-of-state defendant facing assault and battery charges in Virginia, I was not familiar with the legal process in the state. However, Mr. Swartz patiently explained everything I needed to know about the charges and the district court process, advising me on how and where to respond to the warrant in Norfolk. After answering the warrant and being released with conditions, the magistrate initially imposed a restriction that prevented me from leaving the state. This was a difficult situation for me, but Mr. Swartz was quick to come to my aid. He worked swiftly to obtain a bond modification, which was granted the next day after I answered to the warrant. Thanks to his diligent efforts, I was able to regain my freedom of movement and travel back home. Throughout the entire legal process, Mr. Swartz was an invaluable resource for me. He was always available to answer my questions and provide guidance, which gave me much-needed peace of mind during an incredibly stressful time. I am grateful for Mr. Swartz's dedication and expertise, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking a skilled and compassionate criminal defense attorney. On the day of trial, Mr. Swartz was fully prepared to defend my case aggressively, and he did not disappoint. His cross-examination of the defendant testimony of events was so thorough and professional that I was amazed by his skills in the courtroom. Mr. Swartz's argument was so convincing it made the defendant contradict her original statement(s) which I believe helped win my case with a verdict of "Not Guilty." I cannot thank Mr. Swartz enough for his exceptional representation and outstanding performance in my case. If you are ever in need of a knowledgeable and dedicated criminal defense attorney in Virginia, I highly recommend that you choose Mr. Swartz to be in your corner. Thank you, Mr. Swartz, for everything you did for me!

Assiduous & discerning

I was recently accused of trespassing and assault & battery, both what I thought to be clear cases that I would easily show the judge I wasn't guilty of. Never being convicted or even accused of crimes in the past, I didn't know what to expect but didn't think I needed an attorney. I was found guilty... of trespassing in district court so I appealed it. Afterwards I was referred to Jeff by a friend and upon meeting him the first time, I knew I needed him on my side. He was very easy to talk to without feeling judged and demonstrates compassion as if he did understand what I was going through. He took time to listen to my side of the story and discussed all of the facts leading up to the event in great detail. He kept me informed along the way without leaving me feeling worried about what would be the end result. He did an excellent job on my cases as well as working with another attorney on a case related to mine so they could have them heard at the same time so we could get the justice we deserved. Jeff was well respected in the courtroom by the judges and showed complete confidence that justice would prevail. My district case for A&B was dismissed during the first hearing which was a relief. The circuit case was much more difficult with a determined prosecutor but nonetheless, thanks to his exemplary knowledge of case law the judge dismissed that case too. Hiring Jeff was the best decision I could of made and he has brought me such a tremendous amount of relief. Whether you're innocent or not, Jeff is going to go the extra mile to get you the best outcome possible.
