Greatness!

I didn’t know where to start once I stopped working due to my illness. My daughter suggested that I make an appointment to meet with Charlene Morring to discuss my options. I met with Mrs. Morring at the Norfolk office. Everyone there was very professional and offered smiling faces. As I sat down wit...h her, I explained to her the reasons I had to stop working, she took notes and arranged for me to get some things completed. She assured me that everything would work out fine and felt that I had a good case. After my appointment with Mrs. Morring, I applied for social security benefits and was quickly denied. I wasn't sure what was going happen then, I was truly at a lost. I returned to her office with the denial letter and she immediately arranged to take my case. She explained in detail what she needed from me to proceed and encouraged me that she would handle everything from here. Not knowing what was going to happen, Mrs. Morring made me feel confident that I had a strong case to collect my benefits. She kept in touch with me on a regular basis to advise me of the status of the case. Whenever she needed updated medical records from me, she would have her assistant call me to make sure no stone was left unturned. Mrs. Morring and her staff was in constant communication with the Social Security Administration on my behalf. My social security benefits took some time to come through, however, I certainly appreciate the time and effort that was put forth on my case. You don’t find many attorneys like her. Charlene takes pride in her work and she truly cared about me and my needs. She went above and beyond for me and I know that she will do the same for all her clients. I am proud to have had her represent me throughout this trying time in my life. She is sincerely an example of greatness at its best!!

Legal Team Par Excellance!

It had been over six months since my "on the job" injury and my journey into the confusing world of workers' compensation. I felt like my life, as I had known it, was slipping from my grip. Confused, upset, and in terrible pain and feeling totally helpless, one friend who had known a lady who got in...jured on the job and had hired an attorney. The case went to court and the attorney won! I asked for the attorney's name, found her phone number, and called for an appointment. The attorney was Ms. Charlene Mooring. On the day of my appointment with Ms. Mooring, I was in pain and my friend drove me to Ms. Mooring's office. The receptionist was charming and very friendly but I was still nervous about meeting Ms. Mooring. When a very attractive lady with a warm, beautiful smile came into the waiting room and introduced herself to me, she immediately put me at ease! Her aura emanated friendliness, confidence, empathy, and concern. She listened to my story, took notes, asked questions, answered my questions, made copies of my papers, and made me feel like she had all the time in the world to go over my situation. Following all of this, she told me what she was going to do regarding everything and told me to go home, get better, and not to worry about anything because she was going to handle it all! It was like a huge weight was lifted of me and peace filled the room and my life! It has now been over a year since I first went to Ms. Mooring and, even though the insurance company still likes to "play games" (for lack of a better term), she is my rock through it all. I can call her office and leave a message with Donna and she will talk me through something that has happened and will tell Ms. Mooring what's going on. I guess I've called so much that Donna and I've become friends--she has never made me feel like I'm imposing upon her! Ms. Mooring and Donna have guided me through the storms of workers' comp and have never let me become worried, fearful, or afraid of what the insurance company might try to do next. Frankly, I don't know how I would have gotten through the past year without them beside me on this journey. I have recommended Ms. Mooring to other injured workers and I will continue to do so. There just aren't enough words to express my gratitude for and appreciation of Ms. Mooring for all she has done, is doing, and will do for me...which I know she does and will do for all of her other clients! Ms. Mooring and Donna are, in my opinion, a legal team par excellence!
