I hired Mr. Garriott to represent me in a fairly simple divorce/custody case. He can be a charismatic guy and works for a large law firm in a very nice office with considerable resources. He also has quite the collection of accolades and seems to be a reasonably intelligent person. I felt very hopefu...l after our initial meeting but that soon changed. Richard was slow to get me into court and "negotiated" a temporary visitation schedule that was sub-par at best. He was consistently either rude, uninformative, or both within our correspondence with each other and seemingly had no desire to do any more than the bare minimum required of him. He rarely addressed issues I brought to his attention and could hardly be bothered to answer questions I emailed him. I finally replaced him someone who was willing to fight for me and haven't looked back. I would advise anyone whos considering hiring Mr. Garriott to make sure he is truly invested in your case before signing an agreement.
