Mr. Tarkington carefully went through my complicated investement items and other fininacial issues that my ex-husband and I were haggling over. He came up with a fair settelement and took the time to make sure the facts were correct and everything was addressed. Overall it was a very smooth process a...nd he knew the law very well, especially when it came to the Military's rules. I would definitely recommend him to anyone! I retained Mr. Tarkington to manage my divorce. I did all the work, my ex-husband and I hashed out the seperation agreeent in advance on our own. I presented the agreement at our final meeting before the hearing. After the divorce I recieved the court papers that did not reflect the seperation agreem...ent. When I called the office, Mr. Tarkington's secretary ran interferrance and explained I would have to retain Mr. Tarkington again if I wanted assistance incorportating the seperation agreement into the divorce. The agreement I had already submitted to him. $2500 and all he did was show up at the hearing, sign a few papers and walked out of my life without finishing the job. Now, I have to hire another attorney to finish the job before I can assume the mortgage and recieve the TSP transfer my Ex agreed to.
