Biography
I have been practicing family law for 37 years. I have just recently formed a new firm -- Albiston Brannon & Gilbert, located at 1321 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia,) where I will continue to practice exclusively family law. My practice includes all aspects of family law, to include contested and uncontested divorces, child custody, spousal and child support, equitable distribution (Virginia’s division of property law), military divorces, post-divorce matters and prenuptial agreements. For the first 11 years of my career, I practiced family law with Weinberg & Stein and for the past 26 years I practiced with Kaufman & Canoles and was the chair of their family law practice group. Having practiced family law for such an extended period of time, I certainly know this process can be very stressful; and I am committed to helping you reach the best resolution for your family.
