Brandon W. Matthews

Brandon Matthews was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. He graduated from Regent University School of Law in December of 2015. While attending law school, Brandon was on the Trial Advocacy Board and was a player and the head coach of the Regent Slowpitch Softball National Championship team. During law school, he interned with Pender & Coward P.C. in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and was a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Judge Randall Blow of Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. Also, he is a member of the James Kent Inn of Court and was an Eagle Award Recipient.

Prior to law school, Brandon attended Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina where he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and the Student Athletic Advisory Council. He was also on the Dean’s List several times throughout college. Brandon was a NCAA Division III student athlete as a member of the men’s varsity baseball team. Brandon was a three time academic all conference award winner and holds the record for the second lowest single season E.R.A. in school history. Prior to attending Greensboro College, he graduated from Norfolk Collegiate in Norfolk, is also a huge participant in the local slow-pitch softball community and has been since 2010. He coaches and plays on a tournament team, P&C Mayhem, which has made numerous state and national championship games including being the 2015 National Championship  is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia. Currently, Brandon’s practice areas include family law, criminal law,civil litigation, and traffic/DUI cases.
