Doug is awesome!

I received a speeding ticket in VA and was looking at serious charges. I was very concerned and quite frankly afraid because I’d never experienced anything like this before. I contacted Doug and from our initial conversation, Doug was very knowledgeable, transparent and professional. He made me a...ware of all of the pros and cons of my case. Most importantly, Doug eased me concerns by ensuring me that he’d do his best. At the first court date, Doug was able to get my charges reduced, I paid the fine and the case was closed. Afterwards, Doug and I chatted for a bit bringing closure to the case. The biggest takeaway from this entire experience is that Doug is such an awesome person, with great energy, and full of positivity. He gives you the hard truth but he’s very optimistic and seeks the best outcome. It was such a pleasure meeting him and working with him. I’d recommend Doug 100 times over to anyone who needs legal representation in any of his fields of expertise.

Reckless Driving over 90mph reduced to 'Defective Equipment'

I was pulled over on i-80 in Virginia going 93 in a 70 zone. With Doug's guidance, he was able to get my ticket down to 'defective equipment'. Which is the equivalent to a tail light bulb being out. He recommended I take the 8 and 4-hour driving retraining courses. As well as, perform community s...ervice and have my vehicles speed calibrated. I accomplished all of those tasks and Doug was able to use that to get my reckless Driving charge reduced to the non-moving violation. I just had to pay court costs and fines. My vehicles speed ended up being 4mph off which helped greatly. So, I would highly recommend taking the time to get that done if you can. Doug, is knowledgeable, punctual, and professional. He made the whole process less painful than it had to be by following his guidance. I would absolutely recommend Doug if you need an attorney for a reckless Driving charge.

Got reckless diving ticket reduced to improper driving

Even though I was out of state, Doug was able to reduce my reckless driving ticket (102 in a 70) down to an improper driving ticket! I just had o pay a fine and court costs. I could have served jail time, so this was an amazing outcome! Additionally, he got the prosecution to agree that I would not h...ave to drive to VA for court! Hopefully I won’t need him again, but I would definitely recommend Doug to anyone needing representation.

Awesome!

Doug was awesome and easy to work with. We had a short phone call to run through the details, he gave a realistic outcome, and sent me a list of things to do to help the case. He got a 90 in a 70 with a misdemeanor and six points down to a defective equipment ticket. If you’re thinking the speed cali...bration check he advises is going to be a waste of time like I did…it is not, and was a game changer in the case.
