Excellent experience

Doug was great! He was able to help me with a failure to obey the Move Over law in Virginia. The charge was successfully reduced to a non-moving violation with no points on my license and no misdemeanor conviction. He provided clear instructions and responded in a timely fashion to my questions and I... couldn't be happier with the result. Highly recommended!

Saving the day!

Mr. McGee was outstanding. I was driving home to South Carolina from Ohio after visiting my sick grandmother, and with a lot on my mind, I didn’t realize I was going 84 in a 70 — something I absolutely should have been more mindful of, especially in Virginia. This was the first traffic ticket I had e...ver received, so I decided to seek legal representation. After coming across Mr. McGee, I’m very grateful I chose to work with him. From the start, he was clear, direct, and walked me through exactly what to expect. I asked if there was any way to expedite the process, and he was able to have the court date moved up significantly, which helped bring the matter to a quick and smooth resolution. Thanks to his representation, my speeding ticket was reduced to a non-moving violation. I wasn’t required to attend any driving school or complete any courses, which was a huge relief. Reckless Driving charge reduced to speeding

I cannot recommend Douglass McGee highly enough. He is an incredibly helpful, responsible, and knowledgeable attorney. Couldn’t be happier

Giving 5 stars is not enough. I received a ticket in smyth county VA for 107/70 and I had consulted with a few other attorneys telling me they either wouldn’t take the case because I’d lose or they’d say that I was absolutly gonna have to serve jail time over this matter and lose my license and I ha...ve to have my license to work. . As soon as I spoke to Doug he layed it all out. Worst case scenario and all. But he was very optimistic with a lot of community service and defensive driving classes and a few other things that we could get a very favorable outcome and man did we. Zero jail time and no suspended license. This man knows what he’s doing. Do not be discouraged by other council. At least give him a call for a consult but believe me, you’ll hire him. I hope this eases some minds out there as to when I got my ticket I was just beside myself as to the severity Virginia places on speeding tickets. It’s gonna cost you, sure but it’s a lesson learned.
