Reckless Driving over 90mph reduced to 'Defective Equipment'

I was pulled over on i-80 in Virginia going 93 in a 70 zone. With Doug's guidance, he was able to get my ticket down to 'defective equipment'. Which is the equivalent to a tail light bulb being out. He recommended I take the 8 and 4-hour driving retraining courses. As well as, perform community s...ervice and have my vehicles speed calibrated. I accomplished all of those tasks and Doug was able to use that to get my reckless Driving charge reduced to the non-moving violation. I just had to pay court costs and fines. My vehicles speed ended up being 4mph off which helped greatly. So, I would highly recommend taking the time to get that done if you can. Doug, is knowledgeable, punctual, and professional. He made the whole process less painful than it had to be by following his guidance. I would absolutely recommend Doug if you need an attorney for a reckless Driving charge.

Smyth County VA 92/70 RD Charge

Highly recommend working with Doug! He got my RD charge dropped from a first-class misdemeanor to a speeding ticket in a notoriously difficult area of Virginia. He was extremely professional and outlined the entire process as well as recommended steps for me to take ahead of the court summons clearly.... As I was out of state, he also attended the summons in my absence and updated me immediately upon its conclusion.

Hello, I live in New York, I am Colombian, and on a trip to Texas while driving I was stopped in Smyth County by a police officer and that was when I hired the services of attorney Douglas McGee and he immediately helped me with my case, (Reduction of Smyth County Misdemeanor Reckless driving (101 mp...h in a 70 mph zone) to traffic ticket). Wreckless driving due to speed

Better result than even Doug thought could even be possible, but regardless, he never stopped trying to get the best possible outcome. Doug was very upfront and explained to me that it was very unlikely that the end result would not include jail time. He laid it all out that it was really up to me t...o make the most effort to help my case. At no point in time was he able to work something out with the cycling prosecutors to offer anything that did not include jail time. In the end, when the case was presented to the court, the prosecutor allowed Doug to plead my case, and refrained from making any sentencing recommendations. This was all due to Doug's persistance and tireless work to highlight my life as a whole, not just the infraction, and the ruling was not something, either of us thought possible, but I received a suspended sentence of up to 12mos in jail and up to 6mos loss of license, as long as there are no new citations for the next 12mos. It was made very clear to me, how fortunate I was, the opportunity I have been afforded, all due to Doug and his efforts. I cannot thank him enough, nor the gratitude I have for the prosecutor and the court for even considering the ruling that allows me to stay out of jail, which if I went to jail, would have resulted in the loss of my employment.
