I hired Doug after consulting several attorneys after being given a reckless driving summons in Mecklenburg County, VA for doing 85 in a 70mph zone. Doug took a half hour to speak with me over the phone that day, gave me a realistic outlook on my case, and most importantly gave me peace of mind over ...the following months while waiting for my court date. He is extremely down to earth, realistic, and I genuinely enjoyed talking with him. Not once did he ever try to scare me with the worst possible outcome as is common practice with some VA lawyers that make a living off these cases exclusively. Most importantly, he delivered on his word and got my case reduced to a non-criminal equipment malfunction. Would recommend him 110%.

Reckless driving ticket

I just recently was traveling to virgina for a vacation and got a speeding ticket doing 88mph in a 70mph. When I got home and called the police department in virgina to see how I could pay my ticket the officer told me I couldn't pay the ticket I had to show up in court and I said ok. The officer adv...ised me to get a lawyer because I was getting charged for reckless driving which was a class 1 misdemeanor in virgina and i was possiblygoing to do jail time. I was nervous when he told me that so I got online and typed in good lawyers for reckless driving. Doug was the first contact that pulled up and i contacted him immediately. When we talked Doug explained to me everything and the rules in virgina and told me what I needed to have ( go to driving school, dmv record, accident report and dynometer testing) for my court date if I decide to hire him.. i was so please by just talking to him I went ahead and hired him, I got everything he asked for except for the dynometer testing. He assured me that everything was ok and he should be able to take care of it with what I gave him. I ended up with a non moving violation/ defective equipment and only had to pay a fine and court cost he did a awesome job and he is a great attorney. Thank you doug and I recommend him 100%

Excellent and caring attorney!

It Is difficult the find an excellent attorney and it is more difficult to find a caring one. We were lucky to find Doug McGee! He is both! He was able to knock off a $27000 overweight fine to almost nothing! He worked tiresly to get our case the best shot. He is honest and hardworkkng. We are greatf...ul and will always highly recommend his services.

Felony Charge

This guy is expensive, but he is no joke. In the end, you have someone that you can specifically see where your money went. I had a misdemeanor AND a felony charge. Both charges were dropped at PRE trial!!!! Thats MAJOR!!!!! I actually feel I found a friend. Im a Black American and this guy, at no t...ime, made me second guess his loyalty to me as a person/customer. This guy should actually be a judge w his experience. Six Stars!!!!! Seriously.

RD(89/70) ticket, got reduced successfully!

At the beginning of this year I was pulled over for RD(89/70) in Lexington. It was my very first ticket. I was scared when I searched online. I called a few attorneys, only Mr. Mcgee explained to my everything patiently and clearly. He was honest and helpful so I decided to choose him, and that was a... correct decision indeed! I prepared all documents under his guide and met him in the court. He got my ticket reduced to regular speeding ticket in 24 SECONDS! Unbelievable record. Should be the shortest one in Lexington County general court. This victory can only be accomplished by well experienced and highly professional attorney, like him. BTW other attorneys told me my case was almost impossible to be reduced when I called them. He even helped me jump start my car after we won the case. Mr. Mcgee is such a professional attorney with warm heart. HIRE HIM if you need help!
