Grateful and relieved parent

When my son got a speeding ticket from Bland County, we thought that was what it was, a speeding ticket, only to discover he was being charged with misdemeanor reckless driving with possibility of jail time, large fine and suspension of license. Being out of state and not knowing any attorney in Virg...inia, we researched the internet and found Doug. Doug was very prompt in returning my call. He was very comforting and reassuring, and professional at the same time. He understood the enormity of a conviction of the charge. Doug was very specific in outlining what we needed to provide in preparation for the court date. He maintained effective line of communication all through the process. My son did not have to appear in court being that he was out of state. We were excitingly relieved when Doug called with the good news. He got the charges reduced from misdemeanor to defective equipment with no points on the driving records. Doug is a life saver and we appreciate greatly all he did. One may not find a lot of reviews for Doug, he is old school with a lot of experience under his belt, but he is the best! Talk to him first before any other.

Highly recommend!!!

My husband was charged for reckless driving in VA and we got so scared since convicting for reckless driving in VA can ruin our life and also when you are not a citizen... The conviction result could have impacted us badly tat it could have ruined our visa processing and other stuff. In court the opp...osite attorney asked for license revoke for my husband and Doug has handled our case so well that he was able to reduce it to speeding ticket. I saw a miracle happening that day and I can say it because the situation that day was so tensed and not in our favor and what Doug has done for us that day was marvelous. I highly recommend him. He is a old school guy and thats why one may not find many reviews in other websites about him but trust me he is the guy to take you out of your trouble.

Speeding Ticket

I was charged with reckless driving and Doug was able to get it reduced to a speeding ticket with no points. He was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him.

Highly Recommend

We hired Mr. McGee to help us with our sons reckless driving charge (which if convicted he would have faced a misdemeanor charge). Since my son was applying to dental schools, this would have ruined his chances. The first time I spoke with Mr. McGee I knew he was the lawyer we needed to help us. My s...on had never even had a speeding ticket, so we really didn't know how to handle it. He explained everything to us step-by-step. He let us know what paperwork we needed to submit to him before the court date. What a wonderful man! He went to court for us and was able to have the charge reduced to defective equipment plus a small fine. We avoided the possible 6 points on our insurance and the misdemeanor charge. I highly recommend Mr. McGee if you need the best!

Highly Recommend

Douglas McGee handled my speeding traffic violation in Buckingham County. During our first phone call he explained the process to me and his recommendations. I did not find a lot of reviews for Mr McGee on social media and asked Doug about this. He reassured me of his experience and expertise while ...sharing he was old school when it came to social media. His straight up answer led me to hire him immediately. And he was great. I followed Doug's recommendations to a tee and my citation was dismissed. Throughout the process Doug kept me informed. He was always realistic, discussing options and possible outcomes. I hope to never need an attorney for a traffic violation again, but if I did Doug would be my first choice.
