Case dismissed

I was pulled over for a number of traffic violations in Virginia and called Attorney Doug McGee. The charges could have caused me to lose my driver's license for a period of time. Doug expained the process to me, advised me on steps I could take to potentially obtain a more favorable result, and ulti...mately he was able to get the violations entirely dismissed. Doug is personable, professional, and (most importantly) gets results. I could not possibly recommend him more highly.

Best lawyer ever

Douglas was absolutely amazing to work with! He thoroughly explained and communicated every step throughout the entire process, replied quickly, and kindly answered all of my questions and concerns. I did all of the suggestions he recommended I complete before my court date and he was able to bring ...my speeding misdemeanor all the way down to faulty equipment! Hopefully I never need a lawyer in VA again, but if I do he is definitely the one I’m going to!

Best Choice I Ever Made

I got a ticket for going 85 in a 60 mph work zone in rural Virginia. I had planned on paying the fine, but I hadn't realized how serious it was! I live in Alabama part time, and work as a waitress. I used to work for a law firm, who recommended Doug to me. Thank gosh they did! He was able to appear ...in court on my behalf so I didn't have to drive all that way and miss work, and my charge was reduced to faulty equipment! Which is a fine that's significantly easier to pay for someone working for tips. He was super communicative, and gave me clearly outlined prep steps to ensure the best outcome. Super nice person too! I'll use him for any Virginia traffic needs I have forever!

Got reckless driving case dismissed

Hired to be my lawyer when I received a reckless driving ticket (78 in a 55 mph) in a small, rural county renowned for being tough with reckless speeding tickets. Mr. McGee is very familiar with the area I was charged—which I believed made him in invaluable in representing me. He was a prompt and ef...fective communicator in what I needed to do to prepare for the trial, and he is very knowledgeable in traffic law. Additionally, he was very kind, patient, and reassuring with my nerves about the case. Eventually, he got it dismissed, as I had a clean driving record and followed all his directions. I highly recommend him. Mr. McGee is a truly professional, experienced, and competent attorney.

Excellent representation and best possible outcome

I hired Doug, after being involved in a car accident and being charged with reckless driving in VA. Doug was the only attorney that I spoke to that spent time with me and explained to me over the phone the process, why I got charged and what are the next steps with detail. Even during the initial... consultation, he took the time to speak to me and allowed me to ask any questions I had, without feeling rushed. He didn't try to scare me as some other attorneys/paralegals did, but explained to me what the possible outcomes could be in my case (and not just scare me about jail time). Since my case was unique, in the nature that I caused the accident when my car hydroplaned, I wanted to have a more personalized representation and not being bundled with a bunch of other cases and Doug offered that. He asked me for all the required documentation and made recommendations on things to do before the court and was in continuous communication with me and gave me feedback on the documents and information that I provided. He was able to compile everything, build my profile and present it to the court. I was honestly expecting as a best-case scenario, since I caused the accident, for the ticket to be reduced to a lesser offense, but he was able to completely dismiss it. I cannot recommend Doug highly enough and even if my case hadn't been dismissed, I would have still given him 5 stars, as my experience has been excellent throughout the process.
