Reckless Driving 89 in 65

I am pleased that my charge of reckless driving (89/65mph) was reduced to a traffic infraction of improper driving, thereby avoiding a misdemeanor conviction, the higher points generally associated with this charge in Virginia, and many of the other potential consequences such as jail, license suspen...sion and higher fines. I am further pleased that we were able to achieve this result without additional requirements or probation periods. The reduced ticket is the lowest level point violation possible in Virginia, which is three points, compared to the misdemeanor six point assessment. With Douge I'm sure you will be pleased with your results as well. I highly recommend Douglas McGee. He Is always very helpful and made time to talk with me even though he has a busy schedule. He is very pleasant to speak with and knowledgeable. He went all the way to Henry county for my case and he is located in Richmond. Highly recommend Douglas McGee!

Doug knows what he's doing

My wife had a brandishing a firearm charge, which she was innocent of, we contacted Mr McGee and after the initial consultation we were confident in him to represent her in court. Doug told us everything to expect and he knew how to present the case before the judge perfectly, the result was the case... was dismissed.

Military Friendly Lawyer

I was charged with Reckless Driving in Southampton County (86/60) while on Military travel orders. Luckily I was referred to Doug and I could not be more grateful for how he handled my case. What I admired most was his honesty and his commitment to offer my case the personal attention that was requir...ed. I was not just one of many cases on his plate. Doug communicated clearly with me up front about all of the documents he needed to best support me and maintained communication throughout so that I knew exactly what I needed to provide. Doug was able to argue my charges to be dropped completely without so much as a speeding ticket. I can vouch for Doug's willingness to work with Military members and any case where the client lives out of state. I give Doug my strongest recommendation.

Went Above And Beyond

I was pulled over doing 89 in a 65 which in Virginia, is a couple-hundred dollar fee, 6 points, and a misdemeanor. When I consulted with Doug, I was scared and unsure of how this case would turn out. He explained everything in a logical and reassuring way that made me comfortable and confident with h...iring him to go to my court case. He told me the different outcomes that I could expect to happen and he accomplished the best possible outcome. He got my charge reduced all the way down to a defective equipment (no brake light) charge which holds no points and was only about $250. He was very easy to contact, by phone or email, throughout the time leading up to this case and was always able to answer all my questions. I would absolutely recommend Doug for any traffic related case and if I ever need a lawyer again, he will be the first person I call.

Highley reccomended!

Great Lawyer and best decision I ever made. I was charged with a RD noted 92 in a 60mph zone. Doug took it upon him self with great patience and support. He was very personable and always made time for me. With being only 19 years old I didint exactly know what I was doing but Doug did a great job of... leading me through the whole process. In the end result, Doug was able to reduce my recklace driving charge all the way down to a defective equipment charge which led to a zero point reduction with a very small fee. I am beyond amazed with his work and would highley recommend him.
