Felony record and on probation he got a 95 in a 70 mph zone reckless driving charge dropped to an improper driving would recommend saved me potential jail time

Extremely competent attorney who treats you like a friend

I am an out of state driver who crossed a double yellow line to pass an unmarked County Sheriff vehicle. Needless to say, I was pulled over. The charge was Reckless Driving, a Class 1 criminal misdemeanor charge carrying 6 points. After talking with two other attorney’s offices, each felt that my cha...nces of conviction on the charge were high, but one emphasized that they would likely win on appeal. That attorney has an aggressive mail campaign and exhibits extensive pressure through multiple calls/texts/emails after the initial consultation. Doug, on the other hand, responds in a friendly, relaxed and knowledgable fashion. He takes the time to provide a thorough explanation of what to expect and court procedures. More importantly, he makes specific recommendations for actions the client can perform to increase the chances of a good outcome. Happily for me the outcome was a reduced conviction of Defective Equipment, a non-moving violation with no points. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Doug to represent me in the future. His responsiveness during the case couldn’t have been better.

Amazing defense lawyer

My father received a reckless driving ticket and Mr. McGee was able to reduce the charge from a misdemeanor to a defective equipment infraction. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient from start to finish. Very helpful and thorough

I was about to give in to pay my fine and a friend recommended Douglas McGee. He was to the point with his directions and was available along the way to help with questions.
