Spectacular Lawyer- Mr. Doug McGee

I live in Maryland and just returned from my court day in Sussex Virginia. I am very glad Mr. Doug McGee was by my side. I was charged with reckless driving on my way to Outer Banks with my family a few weeks ago. I simply did not see the sudden change in the speed limit and got caught in a speed t...rap (nice start to vacation). The officer cited me as reckless and stated I would have to come to court. I had absolutely no idea what any of this meant. I had never even had a speeding ticket. After researching it (yes, while on vacation), I realized I was being criminally charged, which was unbelievable to me. Furthermore, I am a professional who cannot have any such record on my background, as it is checked regularly. I also knew none in Virginia. I reached out to several lawyers (for the first time ever to represent me). Mr. McGee was the only one that returned my call promptly and spent nearly 40 minutes educating me and explaining that I had to take it serious but that we would be okay, all without charging me. He was polite, professional and very patient with my ignorance on this whole matter. He advised me meticulously on court preparation and what I needed before we appeared in from of the judge. After I spoke to him I felt much better and hired him. He was available to me at all times as needed. I completed all his instructions. Today, in court, he was phenomenal. He pleaded our case and my background to the judge and was able to persuade him to drop the reckless without need for additional community service. Let me add, this judge was very good and experienced, but not easily persuaded as I saw with other defendants. I also got to observe other lawyers representing other defendants and I must say, I knew I had selected the right lawyer. Mr. McGee is an experienced go to lawyer who happens to also be a good man, as I got to know him today. Do yourself a favor and take the charges serious and hire this serious lawyer. I hope I never go through this again, but he is my lawyer in the future, should the need arise. Overall, his fee was very reasonable for the spectacular representation. Thank you Mr. McGee.

Reckless driving ticket

I just recently was traveling to virgina for a vacation and got a speeding ticket doing 88mph in a 70mph. When I got home and called the police department in virgina to see how I could pay my ticket the officer told me I couldn't pay the ticket I had to show up in court and I said ok. The officer adv...ised me to get a lawyer because I was getting charged for reckless driving which was a class 1 misdemeanor in virgina and i was possiblygoing to do jail time. I was nervous when he told me that so I got online and typed in good lawyers for reckless driving. Doug was the first contact that pulled up and i contacted him immediately. When we talked Doug explained to me everything and the rules in virgina and told me what I needed to have ( go to driving school, dmv record, accident report and dynometer testing) for my court date if I decide to hire him.. i was so please by just talking to him I went ahead and hired him, I got everything he asked for except for the dynometer testing. He assured me that everything was ok and he should be able to take care of it with what I gave him. I ended up with a non moving violation/ defective equipment and only had to pay a fine and court cost he did a awesome job and he is a great attorney. Thank you doug and I recommend him 100%

100% recommend!!

I hired Doug Mcgee back in June of this year for a wreckless driving ticket i received in VA while being a resident out of state, I was extremely lucky to have came across his name as Mr. Mcgee was one of the most down to earth person I have ever met. I had explained I had a pending charge from anoth...er state and was very worried about my ticket becoming a misdemeanor so he had given me all of the realistic outcomes and possibilities along with the tools to atleast get the misdemeanor dropped being the main goal. Mr Mcgee would check in within the four months until the court date and very fast with responses to my questions and concerns. Within the time I got the ticket i had also received another speeding ticket out of state so the odds were against me. In court Me Mcgee came completely through for me and not only got the misdemeanor off the table but i only received the lowest moving violation in the VA state. Please do not second guess going with Doug you will not regret it & i couldnt thank him enough!

Doug McGee is THE MAN

I was driving home from Florida to N/Y. Stopped for doing 84 in a 70 zone. In Virginia that's considered RD. I contacted my N.Y. Lawyer who recommended Doug's law firm to handle my case. Doug called me and we reviewed my options. He was so spot on and professional. I received calls from him on Sunday...s, unheard of in my opinion. I sent him with all the documents he required for a court appearance. Rather than winding up in an Orange Jump Suit, I received a minimum fine, no points and could not have been happier. Excellent and caring attorney!

It Is difficult the find an excellent attorney and it is more difficult to find a caring one. We were lucky to find Doug McGee! He is both! He was able to knock off a $27000 overweight fine to almost nothing! He worked tiresly to get our case the best shot. He is honest and hardworkkng. We are greatf...ul and will always highly recommend his services.
