EXCELLENT Lawyer

Doug was able to reduce my reckless driving charge of 99 in a 70 zone from reckless driving to a improper driving charge with only a small fee and a few points on my CDL license. Considering I am a CDL holder VA is generally a lot stricter on these licensed drivers. I highly recommend this attorney w...ith his guidance and the documentation we provided he was able to come out with the best outcome!

Competent and deserving of your confidence.

Doug gave me really good advice and direction even before we went to court for a traffic violation. The day before court Doug got me a good plea deal from the prosecution. When I decided to take my case before the judge, Doug was able to present everything in such a way that showed me in the best lig...ht possible. It is because of his guidance and preparation that my day in court could not have ended much better. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of a lawyer with his specialty. He is also very good about responding to and returning calls/ messages.

The BEST Traffic Attorney!

Doug made the first and last serious charge I've ever received easy to navigate through. Was charged with 2 tickets and he was able to negotiate them into 1 minor conviction. Doug clearly outlined expectations from the beginning, kept in communication throughout the process, and even met with me prio...r to court to discuss exactly what to expect as someone who has never been in a courtroom before. Outstanding lawyer!

Doug was very honest with me from the moment I hired him. Being out of state and having a previous DUI charge was two of my biggest worries, but I didn’t have any doubts. Stellar guy

I caught a "reckless by speed" on rt. 3 in King George County...... 76 in a 45 zone. There were clear indications that something with the stop was fishy. One being I didn't get pulled over for 2.2 miles from where I was supposedly clocked, and more. I called around for about a week, talking with ...attorneys. Spoke with Doug one evening and he literally dropped what he was doing and spent about 40 minutes explaining his view, the possible outcomes and various things I could do to better my position. First hearing Doug could tell something was off, I as well had not completed one of my tasks, which was an online class. Doug got the trial postponed and even got the Judge to scratch his previous markings! Month later, second hearing, I finished up the class, Doug explained me very well (which I do have alot on my side, no tickets for 15 years, no points, good job, single father etc.) and the Judge literally asked "Mr. McGee, what do you want me to do here?" No bullspit.... Doug asked for a 30.1 so I walked out with NO POINTS AND $100 fine!! Completely unheard of in VA, as far as I am aware of. This could have been devastating for me, 6 points, thousands in fines, possible jail time. Doug nailed it! He is well connected and respected in the system, which was evident. He will spend as long as it takes explaining details. Very down to earth. Even if this did not work out this well, I would still have 5 stars up. Thanks Doug!!!!!
