Mr. McGee is the best attorney for speeding in Virginia!

I was charged with Reckless Driving (80MPH in a 55MPH) Mr. McGee was able to get it reduced to to Speeding (69 MPH) thereby avoiding a misdemeanor conviction, potential jail, license suspension, additional Virginia points and higher fines. The ticked I had to pay was $250 compared to a Reckless Drivi...ng ticket which can cost up to $2,500 in Virginia. He is extremely easy to work with, has excellent communication skills and provides clear and easy to follow instructions. If you follow Mr. McGee’s instructions I am sure you will be very happy with the outcome. If I could give him six stars I would it was a pleasure working with him.

Highly recommend

I hired Doug McGee after being charged with failing to move over a lane for a police vehicle parked on the side of the road. I didn't think I had time to get over, so I slowed down to 15 mph below the speed limit, but still found myself charged with a Class I Misdemeanor and a mandatory court date i...n Virginia (I was visiting from Texas). Doug responded promptly, treated me with kindness and understanding, and told me exactly what to do to get the best results in my case. He neither sugarcoated nor exaggerated the situation, but gave me realistic expectations of the range outcomes I could expect based on his years of experience and knowledge of the particular court I was dealing with. Doug was able to waive my appearance in court and represent me in my absence, saving me additional expense and stress. He requested a lot of prep work from me (driver improvement classes, community service, etc.), but I followed all of his suggestions and achieved an even better result than he expected - complete dismissal of the charge following 6 months of clean driving. Doug is truly gifted at what he does. He is a person of great integrity and compassion who treats his clients, the police, and all members of the court system with the utmost respect and calls out the best in each person to bring about a resolution.

Great help with a ticket

Mr. McGee did a great job handling my out of state driving ticket and getting it reduced significantly. The process was smooth and easy, he was clear with what he needed from me, was very responsive and was a pleasure to work with, very professional.

Got reckless driving case dismissed

Hired to be my lawyer when I received a reckless driving ticket (78 in a 55 mph) in a small, rural county renowned for being tough with reckless speeding tickets. Mr. McGee is very familiar with the area I was charged—which I believed made him in invaluable in representing me. He was a prompt and ef...fective communicator in what I needed to do to prepare for the trial, and he is very knowledgeable in traffic law. Additionally, he was very kind, patient, and reassuring with my nerves about the case. Eventually, he got it dismissed, as I had a clean driving record and followed all his directions. The Best in the Business to Defend Your Reckless Speeding Driving Ticket

Doug is an incredible resource and ally to have on your side when facing any traffic ticket especially those related to Virginia's strict speeding laws. Beyond great communication Doug knows the steps that you need to take in order to put yourself in the best position possible for a favorable outcome.... In my instance I followed his guidance prior to my court date and when it came time for my hearing on a 92MPH in a 70MPH zone ticket he was able to get it reduced to a Defective Equipment non-moving charge.
