The Best Choice I Could Have Made in a Stressful Time

When this whole situation first began, I was scared and overwhelmed. The uncertainty of not knowing what would happen weighed heavily, and one of the most stressful parts was figuring out how to choose the right lawyer. We wanted someone with strong recommendations, someone we could trust, but also s...omeone who understood the importance of working within our budget. That balance felt nearly impossible to find at first. In the end, the overall cost came to about $2,000, which included not only Doug’s fee, but also car reports, two required classes, and the extra expenses of gas from volunteering and traveling back and forth to court. For such a difficult and draining experience, knowing that we were able to afford quality representation without being crushed financially was a huge relief. What truly stood out, though, was Doug’s character. From the very beginning, he was calm, kind, and reassuring — exactly what I needed in such a stressful time. He was patient as I asked what felt like 101 questions before signing on the dotted line, and instead of making me feel like a burden, he answered each one with care, honesty, and full transparency. That level of forthrightness was refreshing, and it built trust from the start. Throughout the entire process, Doug’s professionalism was matched by his humanity. He was not only thorough and knowledgeable, but also compassionate and understanding. His calm demeanor gave me peace of mind, and his guidance helped me navigate what could have been an overwhelming experience. Although this situation was unfortunate, meeting and working with Doug was not. I hope I never have to go through something like this again, but if I do, I know how fortunate I would be to have him by my side.

Excellent Attorney & Excellent Result

Wonderful Experience

I received a Reckless Driving ticket for 95 mph in a 70 mph zone. I received all of the MASS mail-outs from a variety of attorneys but upon researching local attorneys, I came across Mr. McGee. THANKFULLY! I reside in a different state, making a court appearance less than convenient. Mr. McGee is an ...excellent communicator who knows the area, prosecutors, and judges and was able to take care of everything remotely. The steps he told me to take, from community service, online driving courses, references, etc. proved Invaluable! What could have cost me a criminal record, jail time, ongoing fees and consequences…….ended up costing me some time, attorney’s fee, and court costs with NO residual complications. I am SO Thankful to have reached out to him. He is Great to talk to and genuinely cares about your personal situation. I would Highly recommend this attorney and look forward to meeting him one day when I travel back through that area. NOT your typical Attorney-Client experience. This gentleman is Well WORTH the fee he charges!

Mr. McGee was terrific. He listened to my case, gave me clear and concise directions on what I needed to do, in order for him to help me. His communication with timely, upfront and honest. He was kind and respectful. He did exactly what he said he would do. He was also available when I had quest...ions which is huge. I would use him again in a heartbeat (but hope I never have to!).

Doug is awesome!

I received a speeding ticket in VA and was looking at serious charges. I was very concerned and quite frankly afraid because I’d never experienced anything like this before. I contacted Doug and from our initial conversation, Doug was very knowledgeable, transparent and professional. He made me a...ware of all of the pros and cons of my case. Most importantly, Doug eased me concerns by ensuring me that he’d do his best. At the first court date, Doug was able to get my charges reduced, I paid the fine and the case was closed. Afterwards, Doug and I chatted for a bit bringing closure to the case. The biggest takeaway from this entire experience is that Doug is such an awesome person, with great energy, and full of positivity. He gives you the hard truth but he’s very optimistic and seeks the best outcome. It was such a pleasure meeting him and working with him. I’d recommend Doug 100 times over to anyone who needs legal representation in any of his fields of expertise.
