Gives great instructions -- Follow Them!!

My son had a reckless driving charge that could have seriously impacted his ability to get hired for a first responder job that he wanted. Doug McGee was recommended to us and I am so glad we retained him! He told him exactly what to do. He sent an email laying out what steps to take to help get the ...best possible outcome. He also did a couple of phone calls to describe what the process would be like, what to expect in court and how to prepare. That said, you have to do the work. If he says to get community service hours, take a class, etc., you have to do it. Get your paperwork in order, do everything he says, you won't be sorry! My son got his charge reduced, he was eligible for hire, and the new job starts in a couple months. It was the best possible outcome and I am so grateful. A huge relief!

Excellent for out of state drivers

I live in a different state and received a citation in VA. I was referred to Mr. McGee and he did a great job defending me and getting the desired outcome. His advice was spot-on and I appreciate that he was familiar with the judges and troopers in the county where my citation occurred. Thank you!...

Speeding ticket

Was going 15 over in Virginia, was first classified as a 4 point speeding ticket and he got it down to 0 points and only a $150 fine. No insurance affected. Was great in the whole process and easy to talk to, very clear and fast communication as well. Also helped my mom prior for a similar incident. ... Hopefully don’t need to but would absolutely go to again.

Reductions Are Possible

I hired Mr. McGee to assist me with my DUI charge. I had made the mistake of driving under the influence and blew a .11. During the process, Doug did everything he could to walk me through the steps leading up to my court date as well as doing the leg work to find a way to help get my charge reduc...ed. I had a lot of things that could have put me in a serious situation, but Doug’s efforts gave me the chance to reduce my sentence to a reckless driving charge. He is a great man and encourage anyone in the same predicament to consider him as your lawyer. Thanks again Doug for all you did for me and my family.

My son’s ticket

Mr McGee called me the same day I reached out. He was very informative about my options. I had a good feeling when I spoke with him. We hired him right away. He stayed in contact with my son and helped him through the whole process. I would hire him again and recommend him to anyone I know who needs... help with either their or their children’s tickets.
