Place your trust in Doug McGee - you won't regret it!

As so many others have noted in reviews on this site, I received a reckless speeding ticket (84 in a 70) in Emporia, NC and was shocked to learn it was a misdemeanor. I am employed in a position that demands I hold a particular clearance level. This meant not only would the speeding ticket leave me w...ith "a record", but it threatened my current position and ability to procure future positions requiring the same level of clearance. I called Doug the day I received the ticket and he responded immediately - as he did throughout the process. Doug was very straightforward and clear with me from the first conversation explaining possible/probable outcomes and proactive measures I could take to mitigate the outcome of my case. I did exactly as he recommended. Doug was able to get the ticket DISMISSED! and on my on my court date. This was not done on appeal. I did not have to appear in court - Doug clearly presented my case in such a manner that this was not required. Doug is very professional - highly effective and super responsive ( responding to 2am an anxiety ridden text from me at 3am) who does that! I recommend Doug McGee to anyone who has found themselves in a similar situation. Cannot say it enough, THANK YOU Doug!!!

Expect the BEST outcome for your situation

I was charged with a DWI, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident ( Total of 3 charges). Doug had my charges reduced to improper driving and reckless driving. My driving license WAS NOT suspended, I DID NOT have to get a breathalyzer installed, Suspended all jail time. Doug looked for e...ver angle possible to leverage my defense against the prosecutor, he keep me informed of all information well ahead of time. By far the best attorney I have ever had ( I have needed quite a few ). Pay what he asks, do what he asks, and expect the BEST outcome for your situation. There is no one else that I would ever call when/if legal services/advise are needed in the future.

Out of State Reckless Driving Ticket (CDL)

I am from New York and being a new CDL driver I was hit with a radar @ 86MPH in a 70MPH speed zone on the interstate . Very concerned as how it would affect my future and career. I contacted Doug and he responded almost instantly with all of the correct answers to all my questions and concerns. Bein...g around the holidays and what not he was very responsible with his retainer fees . He works most days like the rest of us ! So if you have any problems or questions just shoot him a text he will reply promptly. He managed to save my career and CDL I can not thank him enough my ticket was reduced and now I have zero points with a fine ! Just remarkable , the outcome was more than adequate ! Wreck less driving

Doug really saved me from getting a misdemeanor of wreck less driving all the way down to a non-moving violation. Was extremely informative and provided me with everything I needed to do on my end to help my outcome. Extremely professional and very nice.

Great lawyer

I looked for several lawyers online after I got a reckless driving ticket in Hanover County, VA. I was going 84/65 on 95N. I’m 67 and this was my 1st ticket ever. I had no idea reckless driving is such a serious offense in VA. I live in PA. I was a wreck but Doug talked me through it and gave me my o...ptions. I was most impressed with how he kept me informed every step of the way- either through texts, emails or phone. My case was dismissed and I just had to pay court costs. Doug is the best!!
