Speeding Violation

As an out of state resident and wanting to help my son with his recent VA. speeding ticket we went to the web and found Mr. McGee. Upon a free consultation with Mr. McGee we chose to have him represent us in my son's case. At first, we were asked to provide what I considered to be a lot of informatio...n as well as having my son to take an 8 hour VA driving class. The case quickly came together as to how this would support a reduced violation to no violation. Mr. McGee was extremely professional and thorough while walking us through the whole process. In the end his process and incite were spot on and provided a very favorable outcome for my son. I would highly recommend Mr. McGee and his firm.

Better outcome than I could have hoped for

I was cited for going 86mph in a 70mph zone. Mr McGee was very helpful and professional. He represented me in court as I was unable to make the trip from NJ. He was very reassuring and was able to get the charges down to a defective equipment charge. When he called to tell me the results after court,... I was so relieved! I would definitely recommend Mr. Douglas P McGee to anyone who has been cited in VA.

Amazing Ally in a Crisis

I was involved in a severe car accident in VA and was issued a citation for an unsafe lane change. I was very shaken physically and emotionally and fearful of what the legal repercussions might be. I've had a clean driving record my whole adult life and live out of state and I was almost going to jus...t pay the citation but got the advice to look online for a local attorney to advise me. I was directed to Doug and from the start he was responsive, kind, compassionate, and informed. I retained him and followed all of his suggestions. He was very attuned to the dynamics of the local court and had a flexible strategy. I am so relieved that he successfully had the charge dismissed, thereby averting 4 demerit points, a moving violation, and a more vulnerable position should a civil case occur. I can't recommend him more highly.

The Harvey Specter of Speeding Tickets

I received a ticket for going 82/65 on i-77 in Virginia, which would have caused my NC to suspend my license for 30 days. Doug got it reduced to an improper equipment charge, which is a non-moving violation (insert slow clap here). Caught going over 80? Call Doug McGee!
