Better outcome than I could have hoped for

I was cited for going 86mph in a 70mph zone. Mr McGee was very helpful and professional. He represented me in court as I was unable to make the trip from NJ. He was very reassuring and was able to get the charges down to a defective equipment charge. When he called to tell me the results after court,... I was so relieved! I found myself facing a reckless driving ticket in Virginia, which they take very seriously (I was clocked at 92 in a 70), a situation that had me anxious and un...certain about the potential consequences. Reckless Driving was Reduced to Speeding for Top Secret Employee

My driving has never gotten me a ticket before, but somehow I got one in my 2nd week of moving to Virginia. A state trooper charged me with 99 in a 70, through pacing. In Virginia, this is automatically reckless driving and a class 1 misdemeanor. This would have been my first criminal charge and fi...rst traffic conviction. This would have very bad for me, as I am a holder of a Top Secret clearance and am under constant investigation, this could jeopardize my work. Fortunately, I was able to find Douglass and hire him. Following his instructions, we were able to present several items to the judge and reduce the charge from reckless driving to down speeding. A great accomplishment as now I can continue to have a clear criminal record. Doug was highly efficient in communicating all my details in the court trial and I felt the judge appreciated that.

Doug is the best

I had never been pulled over and never needed a lawyer before. But, I got my first speeding ticket (and a reckless one at that), and I was so scared. Doug was so kind, informative, and walked me through the process step-by-step. I appreciated his honesty and transparency. He notified me when my case ...was scheduled, and shared the outcome via a phone call where he explained what the reduced charge was. He got my ticket from the highest charge down to the lowest charge. Hopefully I never ever need him again, but I would hire him again in a heartbeat if I did. Thank you, Doug!

Doug is truly a light worker. I hired him after receiving a reckless driving charge, driving 103 mph in a 70 mph speed limit. I had two other speeding tickets on my record within the last 4 years, both going 20 mph over the speed limit. Doug was very realistic yet kind during the whole process. He in...formed of the worst case scenario (jail time and having my license revoked) but was also positive and adamantly argued my case in court. The result was that I got my reckless driving charge reduced to an 89 mph in a 70 mph speeding ticket. I would highly recommend Doug to anyone going through anything similar and would gladly work with him in future again.
