This is the Man. The one who knows...

I was driving too fast, went through an active radar State Police speed monitoring post. Was pulled over, State Trooper was very courteous and sympathetic to my dog's urgent request to use the facilities at the next exit. Not really a valid excuse for traveling 92 mph in a posted 70 mph zone. Was exp...lained that I have committed a felony speeding violation. Summons issued and was told to hire an attorney. Had no clue that I had violated a very serious offense of Virginia's driving laws. Went on line and called several law firms. I left message for Douglas McGee. Long story short, Doug called back that same day, explained that I would have to do some things to show the court that I was sorry and a good person as I claimed. I listened and felt very comfortable that I could perform the strongly suggested pre-court items he suggested. I felt he knew the court people, and even knew the particular state trooper that pulled me over. I did what he recommended, took safe driver on line course, provided certain documents. I had a very good experience and am very grateful as I am a professional licensed contractor. My case was reduced and I am satisfied with the over all end result. This is the man! No one could have done a better job. He was always communicating back and forth. Thank you Doug!! 5 - STARS

Absolutely recommend

It was a great pleasure having Doug work my case and I absolutely would recommend him to anyone with a VA ticket. I got a wreck less driving ticket for 96/70 in Shenandoah. Found Doug online and when we spoke he was very realistic and assuring on the proper procedure and expectations I could tell rig...ht away compared to the somewhat cheaper online services that don’t do much that going with him was absolutely worth the few extra bucks. I really appreciated his care for detail and focus as he treats each case as if it’s his only case and really gets full attention. I was provided a list of recommended work to prepare for my case and although I wasn’t able to get everything completed Doug still was able to work his best with what I was able to provide and still had gotten a reduced charge that I am more than happy with. With Doug’s strong community ties I definitely don’t think it would be worth the risk to go with anybody else if found in a similar situation to mine as VA’s driving tickets are not taken lightly and carry some very scary and real consequences if not taken seriously.

91/70 Reckless Driving Reduced to Non-Moving Violation

I was charged with Reckless Driving Speeding 91/70 in Shenandoah County, and among all the lawyers I spoke to try and get this charge reduced, Doug was by far the best and gave me a reasonable price. He explained to me what to realistically expect from this process and sent a detailed list of recomme...nded actions to take prior to the court date, which he pushed out a couple of months in order to give enough time. While I was getting together the materials needed for court, Doug would promptly answer any questions I had really well, and I felt a lot better about the situation having him on my side. On the court date, Doug put in a great amount of effort to get me an incredible result which I was not expecting at all. Doug is an excellent and talented lawyer who is absolutely the right person to hire for your case. I am truly grateful to Doug for helping me get through this process seamlessly.

Amazing result, exceptional service

I have to admit, I didn’t expect to get the kind of result that Doug was able to negotiate for me and am extremely thrilled. As an out of state motorist I was facing a possible 6 pts on my driver records and with Doug’s expertise he was able to get all the points wiped out and have speeding violatio...n totally cleared with me just paying a small fine. Doug is knowledgeable and an expert in defending such matters and I would highly recommend him.

91/70 Speeding = Reckless Driving (Out of State)

Doug was great. I was driving from Texas to New Hampshire when I was pulled over for speeding in Virginia. When the officer gave me the ticket I was surprised that I had to go to court, as I figured I’d just have to pay a steep fine. Was ensued was a panic attack, as I realized the severity of this o...ffense in the state of Virginia. I immediately started googling, and found this site, and called Doug the next morning. Doug laid out a clear plan of attack, and I knew if I followed his recommendations to a tee, I’d have the best shot of avoiding jail time, and potentially having the misdemeanor dropped. Doug had my initial court date moved three months out (which was huge because I was only driving through VA) and I followed his recommendations exactly. I returned to VA for my court date later, and based on the steps I took had the offense reduced. Record: Clean for last 7 years, but speeding tickets and fender bender on my 10+ year history Penalty: Driving courses, community service, fine, 6 month mandatory clean driving record
