SUPERIOR SERVICE

Doug is an excellent communicator. He explained in detail everything I needed to know and do to help bring about the best outcome for my case. My violation would have put 6 points on my license. Because Doug is so very skilled at what he does, the court agreed to reduce the charge to a non-moving vi...olation and NO points were placed on my record. I am licensed in SC and my ticket was issued while driving in Virginia. I spoke with 3 law firms in VA. The reason I chose Doug McGee is because he came across as knowledgeable, honest and a as man of integrity. I was so lucky to have found him !

Excellent representation and best possible outcome

I hired Doug, after being involved in a car accident and being charged with reckless driving in VA. Doug was the only attorney that I spoke to that spent time with me and explained to me over the phone the process, why I got charged and what are the next steps with detail. Even during the initial... consultation, he took the time to speak to me and allowed me to ask any questions I had, without feeling rushed. He didn't try to scare me as some other attorneys/paralegals did, but explained to me what the possible outcomes could be in my case (and not just scare me about jail time). Since my case was unique, in the nature that I caused the accident when my car hydroplaned, I wanted to have a more personalized representation and not being bundled with a bunch of other cases and Doug offered that. He asked me for all the required documentation and made recommendations on things to do before the court and was in continuous communication with me and gave me feedback on the documents and information that I provided. He was able to compile everything, build my profile and present it to the court. I was honestly expecting as a best-case scenario, since I caused the accident, for the ticket to be reduced to a lesser offense, but he was able to completely dismiss it. I cannot recommend Doug highly enough and even if my case hadn't been dismissed, I would have still given him 5 stars, as my experience has been excellent throughout the process.

CDL Reckless Driving

I'm very pleased with my decision to hire Douglas P. McGee as my lawyer. Got a reckless driving of speed 78/55 with being out of state and cdl holder. Not knowing what could happen I called so many lawyers who wouldn't get back or don't do smaller county's. He got back with me and was very helpful on... what I was face with and a plan on getting it lowered and answering any questions i had. I did what he said and was lucky able to get the charge dismissed and only had to pay court cost. Super happy with the outcome and my decision on hiring McGee.

Highly Recommend!

My daughter had received a reckless driving summons in VA (97mph in a 65mph)back in October. We chose Doug to represent her as we are from out of state and definitely needed a local attorney. Doug was great throughout the entire ordeal. He kept in touch with us constantly, explained the process an...d provided her with resources that she was able to complete and help her own case as well. Needless to say we had a more than favorable outcome that resulted in a non-moving violation and no points. Would highly recommend Doug!
