Choosing the right lawyer is critical.

I received a speeding ticket more than 20 mph over the speed limit which is considered reckless driving. Doug McGee was recommended to me by another lawyer who is a distant family relative. This was very fortunate for me. Doug guided me as to what documents to assemble, online classes to take, etc.... in the end he was able to get my case dismissed…I’m very grateful.

Reckless Driving- Failure to Move Over for Law Enforcement

In January 2025 I received a Reckless Driving (Failure to Move Over for Law Enforcement) in King William, VA. It was a very stressful moment and I couldn’t move over in time. Reading my ticket I found I could be charged with a Misdemeanor and fortunately contacted Douglas P. McGee to handle my case. ...He gave me a list of things to complete before going to court. I did as he requested and have no regrets. In addition to his extensive experience he was always so patient and kind which I really appreciated. My charge involved the risk of a misdemeanor conviction or a moving violation, and the risk of jail, hard fines and license suspension. Fortunately Doug’s expertise and my doing what he recommended lead to my charge being reduced to Defective Equipment, a non-moving charge. I was shocked but grateful to end up with no moving violation charges or points on my driving record. There was hard prep work to do in advance of court date but it was well worth it. I was very fortunate having Doug handle my case as he is an awesome and compassionate attorney. I can never thank him enough for keeping my life from turning upside down.

You found your guy! Doug is excellent.

Doug was excellent. I had a speeding ticket in Allegheny county that Doug helped me with. He was very knowledgeable on the best practices to help get the charges reduced or dismissed. We had a very favorable outcome in the court hearing and I would highly recommend his services to anyone in similar s...cenarios. (added bonus he is very reasonable in his fees/pricing)

Reckless Driving Ticket to Non-Moving Traffic Violation!

I was facing a reckless driving charge of going 90 in a 70 MPH zone. As an out of state resident, I had no idea how severe the potential consequences were, especially as a law student. After speaking with Mr. McGee, I felt reassured knowing how knowledgable he was with both the county and this charge.... I followed all of his recommended steps, and he was able to bring down the charge to a non-moving traffic violation. I couldn't recommend him enough!!
