I received a Reckless Driving summons in Emporia, VA for allegedly traveling at a speed of 84MPH in a 70MPH zone along Interstate 95. As an out of state driver, I was a unfamiliar with Virginia's Reckless Driving Law and the fact that I was being charged with a misdemeanor crime upon receiving t...he traffic summons. He was extremely pleasant and understanding of my situation and my concerns, he was very knowledgeable of the law and the Emporia court, and most of all, he was reassuring that I would have an "acceptable" outcome if he represented me in the Emporia court. While driving through Virginia, I was pulled over for speeding. I didn't think that I was going as fast as they stated, but I'm sure I was speeding.
