I had a 10 year old default judgment for medical debt that I didn't know about until recently. Mr. Flax was able to negotiate with the creditors for a lump sum payoff of less than the original judgment amount, which was great because the judgment had been accruing interest at 6% all of these years. ... After the judgment was satisfied and released by the creditor, Mr. Flax was then able to have it vacated due to improper service (it had been posted on my door at a time when I no longer lived there), so it's no longer on my record at all. This was the third lawyer I consulted about this issue, and the only one to have seen any merit in my case. I was impressed with his level of knowledge and professionalism.
