Lonnie Dayton Nunley III

I first met Lonnie Nunley inside The John Marshall Courts Building on April 26, 2018. My landlord, Cedar Grove Partners, LLC had been failing to keep the conditions in my apartment up to code and was now suing me and many more of their tenants for rent we didn't owe. Mr. Nunley was standing outside t...he courtroom before court convened trying to get our attention; basically "ambulance chasing"; asking all of us if we had attorneys and telling us he wanted to speak to us after the court preceedings. Everyone's cases were continued until May 14th and Mr. Nunley gathered many of us together, proposing a class action lawsuit against our landlord with himself and his law firm as our attorneys; pro bono. Many were relieved at the thought of having an attorney to represent us; however after waiting more than 10 months for even a simple face-to face meeting with Mr. Nunley, I called to ask his secrectary why he hadn't kept the promise he had made a week prior to meet at the court house to file a lawsuit against my former landlord. Suddenly, the hot shot lawyer who couldn't call me for 10 months was on the phone 10 minutes later. He was rude and reminded me that I was so poor I had to ask for help getting my security deposit to move into that apartment. He insulted me further by telling that now he wasn't going to represent me, I could go to Legal Aid and ask them to file a lawsuit for me. I never got the chance to remind this pompous ass that HE came looking for ME like an ambulance chaser in the court house, I didn't go looking for HIM! He hung up on me. I wouldn't recommend Lonnie Nunley to represent you in court over a parking ticket.
