I contacted Ms. Ibrahim regarding my son's 504 plan initially. These issues resolved, but she gave me excellent advice for my son's 504 renewal meeting in 2023, his senior year. My 18 yo son had an issue at school and was suspended for 5 days, about one month before graduation. Ms. Ibrahim was so ...responsive when our family was frankly in crisis about this suspension. She quickly reviewed his ADHD work up, understood the disciplinary actions and his history. Ms. Ibrahim represented our son at an MDR meeting, which was successful in determining that his behaviors were a manifestation of his disability. My husband and I are both physicians and we appreciate the value of consulting experts when the stakes are high. She was so professional and knowledgable at our meeting. The meeting with the school was not confrontational, and she really helped me and my family present the facts and the history. I could tell that the school principal and special education team appreciated her expertise and manner. She did such a great job. She was prompt, responsive, dependable and caring. I cannot thank her enough.
